Juventus are working on a deal to sign former Everton and Chelsea transfer target Axel Witsel in January, according to the club's general director.
Zenit Saint Petersburg's Witsel has long been linked with a move away from Russia, with a £16million deal to take him to Turin - as well as rumours of interest from London and Merseyside - mooted last summer.
Witsel flirted with a move to the Premier League, but wage demands and the stubbornness of Zenit over losing one of their biggest stars stopped a potential move in its tracks.

Now it looks as if Serie A champions Juve are making a concerted effort to bring in the Belgium international, according to Giuseppe Marotta.
