Juventus beats AC Milan 4-3 on penalties in Los Angeles as Weston McKennie, Christian Pulisic, and Timothy Weah are unable to impact the game

In the first match that Weston McKennie and Timothy Weah took on Christian Pulisic as a rival, none of the three Americans could salvage a meaningful performance as Juventus beat AC Milan 4-3 on penalties.

Pulisic, who recently joined AC Milan from Chelsea this summer, got the start in the friendly played in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, opposite the most recent United States captain were McKennie and Weah - two of Pulisic's USMNT teammates.

But in the end, while Pulisic and Weah looked occasionally dangerous in the buildup - and McKennie put in a great performance in midfield - no goals were scored from open play on the night.
