John Terry names unlikely Chelsea bad-boy team-mate who was 'lucky to get a move there, was thrown out of training by Avram Grant and had punches thrown at him by Andriy Shevchenko'

John Terry says Tal Ben Haim was 'very lucky' to get his move to Chelsea - and revealed how he was exiled from first-team training by Avram Grant because they 'were at each other's throats every single day'.

The right-sided Israeli defender spent just one season at Stamford Bridge, and was most often known for what he did off the pitch than what he did on it during his spell with The Blues.

After a successful start to his career with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Bolton Wanderers, then-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho brought him to west London in 2007, and a delighted Ben Haim vowed that he would 'play in any position' for his new manager.
