John Terry has a dramatic return to top-level football alongside Dean Smith at relegation-threatened Leicester.
MailOnline first revealed on Monday that the former England captain was set to be part of Smith's staff at King Power Stadium, with Smith signing a deal until the end of the season to try to keep the Foxes in the Premier League.
Terry was part of Smith's staff at Villa from 2018-21, leaving Villa before the start of Smith's final campaign at the club.
In a recent interview, he said: 'I loved my time at Villa, Dean Smith was great for me' but added that he had 'decided against' trying to become a manager in his own right.
