Inter Milan confirm they paid just an initial £6.7million to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the club one-year after Chelsea splashed £97.5m on the Belgian... but the Serie A giants have NO obligation to buy the striker amid another mixed spell

The loan fee for Romelu Lukaku has been confirmed by Inter Milan and it is only a fraction of the price Chelsea paid for him last season.

The Italian club have confirmed that the move for the Belgian striker has cost them just £6.7million despite selling him the season prior for a huge fee.

Chelsea paid £97m to lure Lukaku to Stamford Bridge but upon the move not working out - they decided to loan him back to his former club.

Romelu Lukaku has moved back to Inter Milan on loan and it has only cost the club u00a36.7million

Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed on Twitter that there is no obligation for Inter Milan to buy the striker following the completion of his loan move.
