'I told my parents, "I'm not coming back here anymore"': Fikayo Tomori reveals he nearly QUIT Chelsea after finding it tough in his early days at Cobham... until his dad convinced him he needed to continue

Fikayo Tomori has revealed his dad convinced him to continue at Chelsea after an extremely daunting first experience at the club's Cobham training base.

Before the Premier League was stopped in its tracks due to the coronavirus crisis, Tomori had enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season in the first-team under Frank Lampard.

However, things could have turned out very differently for the young England defender if it wasn't for the intervention of his father back in the day.
