'He was SENSATIONAL': Fans shower Marc Cucurella with praise after he put in his 'best performance in a Chelsea shirt' in their Champions League last-16 win over Dortmund after a difficult start to the season for £62m Spaniard

Marc Cucurella has been labelled as 'sensational' after his masterclass display against Borussia Dortmund helped Chelsea booked their spot in the Champions League quarter-final.

The Blues reversed a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Germany to seal a stunning Champions League fightback with Cucurella earning the man-of-the-match award at Stamford Bridge.

Cucurella had been left out of the manager's last three matchday squads but was brought in to start in a back three with Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile unavailable.

In previous games, the £62million Spaniard had been booed off the pitch by his own supporters, while his own team-mate Mykhailo Mudryk liked an Instagram post slamming him.
