Gary Lineker has revealed a secret feud with Jose Mourinho which began with a snub at an awards ceremony and continues to this day for reasons he hasn't figured out.
The Match of the Day host said the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss didn't want to receive a GQ magazine award from him at the ceremony in 2015.
Prior to that, the pair had enjoyed a good relationship, with Mourinho often texting Lineker to praise Match of the Day's coverage.
But Lineker says their relationship was never repaired after the awards ceremony snub and there was an awkward moment following a Champions League game at Old Trafford during Mourinho's time in charge there.
