EXCLUSIVENottingham Forest are set to lose their top medical chief after only seven months in the job...amid groans from Nuno Espirito Santo over player absences due to injury

Jon Fearn is set to leave his role as head of medical at Nottingham Forest after less than seven months.

Fearn joined Forest only last July as part of a backroom shake-up but Mail Sport understands he is now poised to depart the City Ground. Fearn is highly regarded within the game and spent 13 years with Chelsea before leaving in January 2023.

It is unclear why Fearn is moving on after such a short period in the job. Nuno Espirito Santo took over as manager when Steve Cooper was sacked in December and said in his first press conference that Forest had to improve their record with injuries.
