Erik ten Hag reveals he hasn't decided on David de Gea and Marcus Rashford's Manchester United futures, with their contracts set to expire next summer... as boss insists his focus is to 'restore the club and develop the squad'

David de Gea and Marcus Rashford are among a number of Manchester United players whose contracts are expiring next summer, but for manager Erik ten Hag there is no rush to open renewal talks just yet.

De Gea, Rashford, Fred, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Cristiano Ronaldo, Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones and Tom Heaton are all out of contract in June, with an option to extend in 2023, but for Ten Hag his priority is improving team matters rather than individuals.

The Red Devils currently sit fifth in the Premier League on 16 points, 11 adrift of table-toppers Arsenal and three behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
