Borussia Dortmund took the lead in the Bundesliga title race after an important win over RB Leipzig to move three points ahead of Bayern Munich having played a game more, following goals from Marco Reus and Emre Can.

Reus put the hosts 1-0 up early on after winning a penalty from a Janis Blaswich challenge, before then converting the spot-kick past the RB Leipzig stopper.

Dortmund then doubles their lead on 39 minutes after Can's strike was deflected strike from the edge of the box, with Die Schwarzgelben holding on for an important win ahead of a trip to Chelsea in the Champions League.
