Chelsea's final three bidders looking to buy the club from Roman Abramovich 'are invited to make one last pitch' as to why they should own the Stamford Bridge outfit, with a preferred buyer potentially selected this week

The final three bidders in the race to buy Chelsea have reportedly been invited to make one final pitch for the club.

The offers are fronted by Sir Martin Broughton, Todd Boehly and Stephen Pagliuca and according to The Telegraph, their final presentations will begin as early as Tuesday.

The publication adds that there is hope Chelsea and the Raine Group, the New York bank overseeing the sale, will announce their preferred bidder by the end of the week.

Chelsea, the current holders of the Champions League, were put up for sale by present owner Roman Abramovich in early March before he was sanctioned by the British government for his ties to Russia president Vladimir Putin.
