Mario Pasalic could leave Chelsea on loan for a third successive season this summer, with the midfielder wanted by AC Milan.
The 21-year-old Croatia international was bought from Hajduk Split for £3million in 2014 and has since been loaned out to Elche and Monaco.
The German-born midfielder made 28 appearances for Monaco last season and scored seven goals.
Milan and Chelsea remain in talks over a prospective £34million move for the Italian club's centre back Alessio Romagnoli but any deal for Pasalic at this stage would remain separate.
