Chelsea Women boss Emma Hayes emphatically shuts down AFC Wimbledon rumours

Chelsea Women boss Emma Hayes has insisted she has the 'best job in the world' and that 'no amount of money' could tempt her to leave.

Hayes has been linked with the vacant manager role at League One side AFC Wimbledon, which would have seen her become the first female to take charge of a professional men's club.

The 44-year-old shut down the rumours earlier this week and said it was an 'insult' to women's football to suggest that taking the job would be a step-up. She also replied 'absolutely not' when asked if the third tier club could afford her.
