Chelsea tie Tino Anjorin down to a new five-year contract with the 18-year-old rewarded for breaking into Frank Lampard's side in the 2019-20 season

Tino Anjorin has signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea after breaking through to the club's first team during the 2019-20 campaign.

The 18-year-old has made two appearances for Frank Lampard's side this term, coming on as a substitute in the League Cup win against Grimsby Town and the Premier League home victory over Everton.

The forward was top goalscorer for the Blues development squad in the Premier League 2 campaign and netted two goals in three EFL Trophy matches for the Under-23s.

‘It’s a brilliant feeling,’ Anjorin told Chelsea's official website after agreeing a new deal.
