FIFA have revealed the players that Chelsea have submitted for the Club World Cup which shows that Reece James has been left out of the squad.
The 22-year-old defender has not featured since picking up a hamstring injury against Brighton in December.
He has returned to training though and in a squad list published on Chelsea's official website on Sunday, James was listed as part of the 23-man squad.
The Chelsea defender has travelled to Abu Dhabi with the rest of his team-mates in a list published by FIFA on Monday, James is now no longer included in the team.
