Chelsea squad agree to take 10% pay cut for four months... but unlike rivals Arsenal there are no incentives for stars to regain loss of earnings as club adjusts to coronavirus pandemic

Chelsea players have virtually agreed a 10 per cent pay cut - but do not have the opportunity to make up their lost cash.

As revealed by Sportsmail last week, Chelsea players - led by captain Cesar Azpilicueta - have negotiated a 10 per cent pay cut, which will last for four months.

The club originally raised the prospect of the players taking a 30 per cent cut.
