Chelsea 'plotting summer move for £40m-rated goalkeeper Andre Onana' but face stiff competition from 'several European clubs' as Todd Boehly looks to revive the club... while Mauricio Pochettino takes step closer to confirming deal

Chelsea are looking to secure the services of Andre Onana this summer and are said to be close to confirming a deal with Mauricio Pochettino to become their permanent manager.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper caught Chelsea's attention after excelling between the sticks for Inter Milan and helping the Serie A giants reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Chelsea have earmarked Onana as a potential replacement for Edouard Mendy - who has refused to sign a new deal with the club after losing the No.1 spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Additionally, Chelsea are said to be open to offers for Kepa - according to The Telegraph.
