Lyon have asked about taking Loic Remy on loan from Chelsea as they consider options should a late offer come in for Alexandre Lacazette.
Arsenal were rebuffed in a move for the France international, as were West Ham, while Paris Saint-Germain have been expected to make a late offer.
Lacazette scored a hat-trick on Sunday in Lyon’s opening fixture against Nancy and said afterwards: ‘If offers come in that one cannot refuse, I don’t want to refuse them. If not, I am happy at Lyon.’

Remy, 29, is on the lists of several Premier League clubs who wish to take him on loan if Chelsea allow in the last throes of the window.
