Izzy Brown will now seek talks with Chelsea to sort out his future with the 20-year-old open to staying at Premier League-bound Huddersfield Town.
Brown wants top-flight football next year after playing in the Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium on Monday.
Huddersfield are also planning to try to bring him back, though Chelsea want up to £5million to let him leave permanently.
Another loan is also a possibility.
