Chelsea forward Pedro has reportedly caused a bitter row between Roma's sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and President Jim Pallotta.
Petrachi is threatening to quit because of Pallotta's hesitation to make the Spaniard an offer with his deal at Stamford Bridge set to expire at the end of the month.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Messaggero in Italy suggest Pallotta wants to sell players before making any investment in new signings, even free transfers.
But his hesitation could open the door for other clubs to sweep in which is why Petrachi is frustrated.
