Paul Merson believes Timo Werner could cause 'havoc' at Spurs if the German makes the move back to the Premier League.
Werner is said to be close to making a return to England, with Tottenham set to sign the former Chelsea forward on a six-month loan deal from RB Leipzig.
With Son Heung-min away at the Asian Cup and Ange Postecoglou's Spurs team suffering a slew of injuries, they have turned to the 27-year-old to bolster their attacking options.
He will move to North London for the remainder of the season, with a reported option of a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
