Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has told talkSPORT the club needs to make more signings this summer if they are to compete on all four fronts.
The 2016/17 Premier League champions have added Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, and Willy Caballero this summer, but sold stars like Nemanja Matic, Nathan Ake, Asmir Begovic, and Nathaniel Chalobah, leaving them, on paper, no stronger than before.
And with the Blues competing in the Champions League again thanks to last season’s success, Lampard insisted more players will be needed for the battles ahead.
