Eidur Gudjohnsen is confident Roman Abramovich remains committed to Chelsea despite recent rumours suggesting the Russia billionaire could quit the Stamford Bridge club.
It was announced last week by Chelsea that their stadium redevelopment plans have been put on hold by Abramovich.
This decision, combined with visa problems faced by Abramovich in recent months, has led to rumours that the Russian could look to sell Chelsea in the near future.
However, Gudjohnsen, who played for Chelsea before and during Abramovich’s spell as owner, does not think this is on the cards.
“I don’t have that feeling,” Gudjohnsen told talkSPORT.
