Chelsea fans launch petition for 'John Terry Stand' to be named after the club legend at the Blues' new stadium

Chelsea fans are hoping a stand in their new stadium can be named after their current captain and club legend John Terry.

Blues fans have launched a petition backing the 36-year-old to be officially immortalised in club history by having his name emblazoned across a stand, following the news he is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Terry is set to depart his boyhood club after 22-years of service, during which he has won a clean sweep of football's most prestigious honours.
