Chelsea have confirmed how their recruitment department will operate going forward following the appointments of Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley as their new co-sporting directors.

Blues co-owner and chairman Todd Boehly quit his role as the club'sinterim sporting director at the start of January, bringing in Christopher Vivell as technical director.

Boehly has continued to shape his team behind the scenes, confirming Stewart will be joining from Monaco next week while Brighton's former talent spotter Winstanley arrived back in November, helping the club bring in eight new recruits last month.

And now Stewart and Winstanley will work alongside manager Graham Potter to support the men's first team.
