Chelsea are interested in making a move for Lille striker Jonathan David, according to reports.
The Canadian forward, 22, has starred at Lille since joining from Gent in 2020, netting 41 goals in 107 appearances.
David is also set to be a key man for Canada at the World Cup next month, with the Maple Leafs featuring at the tournament for the first time since 1986.
According to French outlet Jeunes Footeux, Graham Potter's side are now planning to make a January move for David to build on the positive start for the Blues since the Englishman took over.
