Chelsea are dealt another injury blow as Mykhailo Mudryk becomes the NINTH first team player to be sidelined ahead of their weekend clash with Luton

Mykhailo Mudryk has become the latest Chelsea player resigned to the treatment table after picking up an injury in training.

The winger is the ninth Blues player currently ruled out of action and follows the likes of Reece James and Carney Chukwuemeka, who sustained injuries in their first two league games.

As well as Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku, who are recovering from longer term issues picked up ahead of the campaign.

With a squad that remains strikingly threadbare in certain areas, despite their unprecedented level of spending, Mauricio Pochettino faces more selection headaches ahead of Friday night's game against Luton.
