Casemiro claims this season has been 'one of the MOST successful' of his career - ahead of Europa League final that could save Man United's disastrous campaign

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro believes the 2024-25 campaign has been 'one of the most successful seasons of my career'.

The extraordinary claim comes in spite of the Red Devils' miserable domestic showing, which saw them slump to 16th in the Premier League after defeat by Chelsea last weekend.

United could still clinch the Europa League with victory over Tottenham in Wednesday's final but it would be hard to argue that a piece of silverware would constitute a successful campaign. Indeed, Casemiro himself has won a ton of honours, including five Champions Leagues, three Spanish title and the Copa America, among other prizes.
