Brighton will discuss a new deal for striker Evan Ferguson this summer to reward his excellent progress.
The 18-year-old, who opened his scoring account for Republic of Ireland against Latvia last week, has drawn admiration from his boyhood idols Manchester United and strong interest from Tottenham, Newcastle and Chelsea, but he is expected to continue his development on the South Coast.
United and other suitors see 6ft 3ins Ferguson as one for the future but so do Brighton and they are in no rush to sell following his seven goals and three assists in 16 appearances this season.
