Brendan Rodgers speaks frankly on Leicester's downfall and coping with pressure

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has claimed that his side have not been able to sustain their success from his early days at the club due to a lack of investment, after admitting the Foxes were ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham 18 months ago.

In his first two full seasons at the King Power Stadium, Rodgers led Leicester to back-to-back fifth-place finishes, with this team finishing above both north London clubs in consecutive campaigns. He also won the FA Cup in 2021 after beating Chelsea in the final.

However, Rodgers' side have fallen away alarmingly this term, losing seven of their opening 10 games which has left them bottom of the table, four points from safety.
