Ben Chilwell has revealed how a pep talk from Thomas Tuchel proved crucial in helping him banish the memory of a frustrating summer.
The Chelsea left back is set to start for England for the first time since March 31 on Friday against Albania and heads into this World Cup qualifier in outstanding form; he is thriving under Tuchel's guidance and displaced Marcos Alonso at wing-back.
It is a completely different picture to the summer when Chilwell ended up on the periphery of the England camp during Euro 2020, the most frustrating moment being when he had to isolate for 10 days after coming into close contact with club-mate Billy Gilmour after the game against Scotland.
