Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge appears to accept that David Alaba will leave for free next summer as he insists German giants did 'EVERYTHING' to keep defender amid interest from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinze Rummenigge has accepted that they will lose defender David Alaba this season.

The Austrian's contract runs out in June 2021 but he is free to talk to clubs from January after failing to come to an agreement with the Champions League and Bundesliga champions.

Rummenigge revealed that Bayern have tried 'everything' in a bid to keep the 28-year-old, but now he looks certain for an exit with Real Madrid favourites to land his signature.
