Atletico Madrid have picked Chelsea wing-back Marcos Alonso as their primary target this summer as they seek to replace departing Filipe Luis.
The Brazilian full-back will leave Atleti on a free transfer at the end of the season, leaving Diego Simeone with no recognisable options on the left side of his defence.
The Argentine coach is also set to lose Lucas Hernandez who agreed a £68million move to Bayern Munich in March.
And according to AS, Simeone has made Alonso his 'chosen one' to fill the left-back void.
