Ross Barkley is in talks over a move to Aston Villa after his outstanding season with Luton Town.
The 30-year old enjoyed a loan spell with Villa in 2020-21 and is keen to continue his career in the Premier League following Luton's relegation.
Villa need depth for their squad after qualifying for the Champions League and want to add a full-back, versatile centre-back, such as Atletico Madrid's soon to be free agent Mario Hermoso, two midfielders and a forward. Chelsea's Conor Gallagher is also of interest.
