If you thought Karl-Anthony Towns was a tough matchup for the Hornets, Anthony Davis would like to have a word. Towns tuned them up with 37pts/15rbs/8ast while shooting 72% from the field, and it’s fair to expect Davis to have a similar stat line at the end of the night.
The Hornets have been horrid defensively through two games, but that’s nothing we didn’t anticipate. They’ve given up 125 in a win, and 121 in a loss, so at least there’s ample scoring to make up for the lack of defense.
