In 2017, Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan donated $7 million to open two medical centers in low income parts of Charlotte. The first of those officially opened today.

The facilities intend to provide primary and preventative care to those in underprivileged areas of Charlotte with a focus on physical, dental, and behavioral health.
