The Charlotte Hornets’ Plans For Free Agency Going Forward

The Charlotte Hornets have already taken care of their two top priorities in free agency this year by re-signing Nicolas Batum and Marvin Williams to team friendly deals. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports and The Vertical has reported that “Charlotte is trying to find a guard to replace Jeremy Lin in rotation and a backup center.” That seems to be the team’s plan going forward.

The Hornets have signed Batum to a five-year, $120 million deal on the first day of free agency and they followed up that great deal by making another one with Marvin Williams.
