The Charlotte Hornets (44-31) defeated the Philadelphia 76ers (9-67) in a blowout win that saw Charlotte sweep the season series over Phili. The Hornets were also able to extend their current win streak to three games with this victory.
Charlotte was able to avoid an embarrassing loss to the worst team in the league this season. The Hornets are now that much closer to clinching a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. They now only need one more win or a Chicago Bulls loss to secure their spot in the postseason this year.
