Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports and The Vertical has reported that “Free agent Christian Wood has agreed to a two-year deal with the Charlotte Hornets.” He played last season with the Philadelphia 76ers last year. He also starred on their summer league team in Utah and Las Vegas.
Charania also reported that the second year of the deal will be a team option which gives the Hornets flexibility. Charlotte’s roster is almost complete as they have made their fair share of signings this offseason. Wood may be one of their last free agent acquisitions this summer.
