The Charlotte Hornets have assigned rookie guard, Aaron Harrison, to the Erie Bayhawks of the NBA Developmental League in an attempt to get him some playing time. Harrison was assigned pursuant of the flexible assignment rule.
The Hornets do not have a D-League team themselves and they do not share one with another team so they are able to assign their players to certain teams that are willing to take them on. Harrison had two previous stints in the Developmental league this season.
Aaron spent a total of four games with the Oklahoma City Blue earlier this year where he averaged 9.
