The Charlotte Hornets organization have announced the name and logo for their new D-Legaue team that is set to start operation at the beginning of the next NBA season. The Hornets will own and operate this Developmental League team solely and not share with other teams as some D-League teams are now.
The Greensboro Swarm will be the Charlotte D-Legaue team. Swarm was the name that was announced at the event that took place at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on December 29th.
