The Charlotte Hornets have been making the necessary moves to continue their rebuild process and return to possible playoff contention.
After signing a pair of Duke starters in Kon Knueppel (No. 4 pick) and Sion James (No. 33 pick), Charlotte brought in a four-time BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, Ryan Kalkbrenner, with their third and final selection of the 2025 NBA Draft at pick No. 34.
This hasn't stopped the Hornets from continuing to make moves to improve from their 19-63 record in 2024-25, and they were able to bring in a veteran journeyman guard to help guide their young backcourt.
