The Charlotte Hornets will have a lot of holes to fill in the offseason but the NBA Draft may not be the best way to do so. The team only holds a single pick this year with the 22nd overall pick in the first round. The team must make decide if they want to keep their pick or trade it for more value.
The Hornets will be selecting outside of the lottery for the first time since 2001. While this draft class is pretty strong, it is not a very deep draft. Charlotte may come away with a steal with their pick but id the guy they want isn’t on the board then I would expect them to make a deal.
