Veteran center Roy Hibbert reached a one-year, $5 million agreement with the Charlotte Hornets on Monday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer also reported the terms of the agreement.
The 7'2" center has struggled to make a significant impact as the NBA has shifted toward smaller lineups. He averaged just 5.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game during his lone season with the Los Angeles Lakers, failing to provide the Lakers with the interior presence they were hoping for when they acquired him from the Indiana Pacers.
