It wasn’t a pretty start to an NBA game. There weren’t a lot of stoppages, which was good for the pace of play, but the quality wasn’t great. The Bulls scored efficiently, but they turned the ball over a lot. The Hornets protected the ball, but they didn’t score efficiently at all. Gordon Hayward had a nice stretch of play at the end of his time on the floor in the first quarter, but it was icy cold other than that.
