The Charlotte Hornets should be an improved team this year if they stay healthy, which is a big if after last year’s barrage of injuries, but the pieces are in place for Charlotte to fight for a top-five seed in the Eastern Conference.
For that to happen, the Hornets have to continue the progression they made last year in 3-point shooting, in which they ranked 14th in the NBA, shooting 36.9% from three. That was a big jump after shooting just 35.
