Quincy softball win two at Mendon Invitational, stretch winning streak to six

MENDON, MI (WTVB) – After starting the season 1-9, the Quincy girls softball has gotten hot.

They won two games on Saturday at the Mendon Hornets Invitational which stretched their winning streak to six in row.

Quincy defeated Eau Claire in their first game 16-0. Danika Skirka was the winning pitcher as she tossed a one hitter and struck out three.

The Orioles pounded out 14 hits led by Deziray Skirka who had three hits including 2 doubles. Kaylee Modert drove in four runs.

The Orioles defense also did not allow an error.

Quincy kept rolling in the second game as they defeated Cassopolis 11-6.
