Duke basketball's Kon Knueppel was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on June 25 in Brooklyn.
Knueppel, who was selected shortly after teammate Cooper Flagg went No. 1 to the Dallas Mavericks, averaged 14.4 points, 4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game as an All-ACC guard in his one-and-done season with the Blue Devils. Knueppel is the third Blue Devil to be selected by the Hornets since 2020, joining Vernon Carey Jr. and Mark Williams.
When Flagg went down with an ankle injury in the ACC Tournament opener against Georgia Tech, Knueppel scored a season-high 28 points to go with eight assists and five rebounds in a comeback win.
