On this day: KG hits 24,000 points; career highs for Bradley, Rozier

On this day in 1991, the Boston Celtics made a late-season signing of undrafted point guard A.J. Wyndler.

Wyndler played his collegiate basketball at Umass and Fairfield College before being signed by Boston, for whom he played just six games.

In that short stint, the Bronx native averaged 2 points and 1.3 assists over 6.5 minutes per game.

It is also the anniversary of a victory over the Washington Wizards, who the Celtics beat 88-76 in 2012.

It came about via a then-career night for guard Avery Bradley, who scored 23 points to drive his team to the win.
